Co-ed Process Group
Group Leader: Vanessa Spooner, Psy.D.
Group therapy is a great experiment. Why sit in individual therapy telling me how you would tell someone something? In group therapy you could actually try it out.
We never know what new possibilities await us unless we take risks. The greater the risks you take, the better the group is. And the better the group is for you — and for everyone else.
As a former President of the Group Psychotherapy of Los Angeles (GPALA) and an active member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), group therapy is at the center of my ongoing training and education as a therapist. I find that group is one of the most creative places for healing and growth to occur.
