Hi, I’m Leda Maliga
I'm an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#135825) and I specialize in EMDR therapy, grief-focused therapy and Imago Relationship therapy for couples therapy.
I use somatic awareness to help you and/or your partner tune into what the body is telling you. I am a creative person and my passion is to help creative professionals heal and become their best selves.
My story
Creativity and Healing
I have had many roles so far in life: producer, doula, artist, friend, mother. I am now embracing creativity in a whole new way as a healer.
Talk therapy usually is not enough. So many of my roles come into play when I am in therapy sessions helping people heal.
Why I Love What I Do
As a therapist, you sometimes get to witness a moment, where you can almost see something shift and a lightness enter the room. It may result in a couple, sliding across the sofa to sit side by side, or someone leaving the session with a sense of purpose for the first time. Our society has made ageism into one of the last isms.
For me, helping people in mid-life become “unstuck” and seeing them begin to live full lives with intention feels like act of advocacy. My hope is that my clients go out in the world and inspire others who maybe aren’t feeling seen because of their age. In these small acts, we can create big change.
What I Bring into the Room

Our Sessions Are Focused on You
I often begin sessions with a one-minute meditation, to help you feel grounded and safe before we begin exploring what’s going coming up for you. Because every client is different, I like to check in with you to see what’s resonating with you and to get your feedback. That way I can tailor our work to fit you and your needs.
