Life “should” be fine, but you can’t help but feel off

You look around and maybe things are stable on the surface. But you find that past stories and memories surface as if they are still happening. Maybe something really painful and complex happened a long time ago, and you’re telling yourself you “should” be past it.

Things keep piling up and there’s no break in sight

You’re tired of how things are. You’re tired of feeling either overwhelmed or nothing at all. The past few years have truly been relentless. Surviving in a patriarchal-colonial-capitalist society that further impacts your intersecting identities adds layers to this.

Your burnout, fatigue, or hypervigilance have all formed to protect you, and are also trying to tell you something isn’t working.

A big part of your life is changing, and it feels overwhelming

Maybe you’re questioning your gender or sexuality. Maybe you’re questioning the religious ideology you were raised with. Maybe you’re moving through grieving the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship. These life transitions can feel really isolating, and you don’t know where to go from here.

Self-awareness gives you something, but it’s not enough

You’ve read the books, you listen to the podcasts, you follow the therapy social media accounts, but none of it seems to actually make you feel better. You’re amazing at self-analysis, but don’t know where to go from here. )

You’re not alone, and things can get better

Together, we will gently examine patterns and stories held in the mind + body, and build more of a relationship between the two in order to move towards a more present and authentic self. We can explore your inner world, becoming familiar with all the parts that make you, you–honoring how they’ve all formed to help you not only survive, but seek out change and healing.

Why I do this work

I believe community healing starts with the self and with our immediate relationships. I look forward to witnessing and helping you embrace all parts of yourself - even the messy ones.

More about me

Outside of being a therapist, I am often laughing at my cats, going on hikes, drinking way too much coffee, playing cozy video games, or at the climbing gym!
